Looking for an exciting and unique team-building experience? Look no further than Escape Room Era! Our interactive escape room games are designed to challenge and engage players, all while promoting teamwork and problem-solving skills.
To get your team warmed up and interacting with each other, we recommend starting with some icebreaker games. Here are our top 10 picks:
1. Two Truths and a Lie: Players take turns sharing three facts about themselves, two of which are true and one of which is false. The other players must guess which fact is the lie.
2. Human Knot: Players stand in a circle and grab hands with two different people (not adjacent to them). They must work together to untangle the knot without letting go of each other's hands.
3. The Name Game: Players stand in a circle and take turns saying their name and something they like that starts with the same letter as their name (ex: "My name is Sarah and I like strawberries").
4. Telephone Pictionary: Players sit in a circle and each person starts with a piece of paper and writes a random phrase or sentence. They then pass the paper to the person next to them, who must draw a picture based on that phrase. The paper is then folded over so the phrase is hidden and only the picture is visible. The next person must then write a phrase based on that picture, and so on.
5. Group Timeline: Players work together to create a timeline of important events in their lives or in history, using sticky notes or a whiteboard.
6. Scavenger Hunt: Split players into teams and give them a list of items to find or tasks to complete within a set timeframe.
7. The Marshmallow Challenge: Players work in small teams to build the tallest tower they can using only spaghetti noodles, tape, and a marshmallow.
8. Blind Drawing: Players work in pairs, with one person blindfolded and the other giving verbal instructions on what to draw. The results are usually hilarious!
9. Group Juggle: Players stand in a circle and toss a ball or other object to each other. Once everyone has caught the object successfully, another one is added to the mix, and so on.
10. M&M Game: Players take turns picking an M&M out of a bag and answering a question based on the color (ex: "Red: name a favorite movie").
Once your team is sufficiently warmed up, it's time to dive into one of our immersive escape rooms! Choose from our variety of themes, including post-apocalyptic survival, murder-mystery, sci-fi, and holiday-themed adventures. Our rooms are designed to be solved within a one-hour time frame and are priced differently based on complexity.
Escape Room Era is proud to offer partnering with Escapade Games, expanding our operations and adding notable rooms to our collection. However, due to the relocation of Escapade Games, one of the rooms, "Zoe," is temporarily unavailable for booking.
